Bluepig

Big thanks Mr Brant!
Never built a bike from scratch before. Started mtb'in September 2008 a couple of rides showed me I needed something better than an old catalogue nutbuster (the bike was actually called "Buster"). Hail the arrival of my Marin Wolfridge. About 2 months ago I got the hardtail yearning and after scouring the sites of the great and good of mtb the Pig seemed to fit the burly bill build.

Build:
18" frame
Azonic 765mm bar
Truvativ 60mm stem
Cane creek headset
rockshox revelation team air 120mm-150mm
Azonic seatpost
Nukeproof generator wheels (this was never gonna be a light weight)
Deore finishing kit
Steve peat lock on grips
maxxis High Roller 42a front 60a rear
Shimano M520 clipless

weight around 33lbs (~15kgs) (without stickers, not in box but heyho! :p )

The ride. This is the dogs! I mainly ride the Llandegla Black run because it's such a buzz and man! Pigs can fly!...My mate has a Lapierre 216 and he's no slouch (It's his bulletcam see link below). I can turn quicker, climb as well as the wolf and take the new 4ft drop easily and oh how she rails berms! I weigh in at 13st 7lb (83kg) 5'11" (1.8m) She felt right from the first ride. Job done!
Could the top tube cable guides clip together to make cleaning less fiddly? Maybe but other than that, it's all sweet!
Thanks again Mr B I love it!

PS If you see this any advice would be appreciated.
